Fest und treu, wie Daniel
war nach des Herrn Gebot,
sei der Kinder Gottes Schar
in der größten Not.

Bleibe fest wie Daniel,

Starke Männer voller Licht
mögen nicht bestehn,
wagen Gott zu Ehren nicht
